Its been 3 years since Mimm opened its doors at Mimm Store in Hockley where they have aimed to bring you interesting creative projects through clothing, music & art. To celebrate we bring worldwide music pioneer BBC Radio 6's Gilles Peterson for a 3 Hour Set with support from our eclectic Mimm collective this is a rare opportunity to see a intimate performance from one of World music's most influential DJ's.

Gilles Peterson should need no introduction having graced the UK's music scene with his incredible ear for new and rare music for over 20 years. Following his recent move to a prime time Saturday afternoon slot on BBC Radio 6 Music, his dedicated fan base continues to expand worldwide.
Radio is one of many strings to Gilles' bow with many other projects under his belt including independent record label Brownswood Recordings, the Worldwide Festival held in Sete in southern France and the annual Worldwide awards held at Camden’s KOKO. His ability to spot raw talent ensures that anything blessed with the Gilles Peterson stamp of approval is guaranteed to be something special. This follows suit with his DJ sets that explore an eclectic range of genres guaranteed to take you on a weird and wonderful musical journey all the way from avant-garde Jazz to Techno.
